To disable Restart on Freeze type: sudo systemsetup -setrestartfreeze offĤ. Next, wait for a few seconds and then hold down the power button again to turn on your Mac. Then, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to shut down your Mac. After that, select all the open apps and hit Force Restart. To enable Restart on Freeze type: sudo systemsetup -setrestartfreeze onģ. Click the Apple menu at the top left corner of the screen and choose Force Restart.
